Kay Maddox-Daines has worked in higher education and professional development for over 20 years. Something of a ‘pracademic’, Kay balances her research and teaching with consultancy in order to keep abreast of rapid changes in the people profession. Kay is a Visiting Fellow at the University of Suffolk in the UK, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), a Fellow of the Royal Anthropological Institute, UK, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Registered Career Development Professional with the UK Career Development Institute. Kay is author of ‘Managing People in the Hybrid Workplace’ and ‘How to Pass your CIPD Qualifications, both published by Routledge and ‘How to get ahead in HR’, published by London Publishing Partnership.
