My name is Laurena Issa. I am a Lebanese HR professional currently based in Bahrain, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and an MBA. I am also CIPD Level 5 qualified, combining strong academic foundations with practical experience in the people profession.

I have worked extensively within the HR domain, particularly in recruitment and training and development, where I have supported organisations in attracting, developing and retaining talent. My experience includes implementing structured HR processes and contributing to people development initiatives.

For the past four years, I have worked as a CIPD assessor at a training centre in Saudi Arabia, assessing learners  in line with CIPD standards and providing constructive, developmental feedback to support their professional growth. In addition, I deliver training for a Level 3 unit, and I conduct the training in Arabic to ensure clarity, engagement, and effective learning outcomes for participants.

I am passionate about supporting learners, promoting evidence-based HR practice, and maintaining high standards of quality and consistency in both assessment and training delivery.
